Strategic Employee Resourcing and Talent Management
It is
understood that the employees as a resource, it plays a crucial role within the
organisation. However, the organisation should comprise with the right people
who are with right knowledge, skills and attitudes in order to gain the
competitive advantage. Accordingly, the employees who are with the right talent
should be managed and to achieve, organisation should provide opportunities to
enhance the knowledge of the employees pertaining to their respective job role.
Similarly, the management should have a pool of employees who are beneficial to
the organisation (Daft, 2012).
On the other hand, the level of commitment and a positive attitude
towards the organisation would lead the employee to achieve the goals of the
organisation. Perhaps it would be important to identify gaps and take corrective
action if necessary. This could be defined as talent management and is critical
for every organisation (Deepa, Palaniswamy and Kuppusamy, 2014).
Moreover,
Armstrong (2009) states that the employee resourcing and talent management is
linked together. Organisations should develop strategies to minimise the
employee turnover. In the event that the talents are managed and have the right
resources, the organisation could attain the organisational objectives.
According
to the Gurus of human resources management, the talents of the employees could
be enhanced in many ways, which could be;

Providing
opportunities for training and development
·
Engaged
the right employee to the right job at the right time
·
Recognise
and reward the best employees
·
Positive
working environment
Similarly,
not only the organisation should keep a clear track on the employee thus the
individual employee is also responsible in enhance their knowledge, skills and
attitudes. The employee could request for training and career progression plan
from the organisation pertaining to the success of their job duties.
Conclusion
In
concluding, the employees with the right knowledge, skills and attitude would
allow the organisation to achieve the overall objectives in a better manner. As
aforementioned, the management should have a pool of employees who are
beneficial to the organisation. Thereby it is understood that employee
resourcing and talent management are crucial to every organisation.
